Project Overview

AAA was appointed to design, supply, install, and commission a mobile phone signal booster system to enhance 4G and 5G LTE coverage throughout the Project Phoenix Building.

The solution was delivered using CEL-FI technology, one of only two Ofcom-approved systems for legal internal mobile signal distribution in the UK. The installation provides coverage for all four major network carriers across the Lower Ground, Ground, First, and Second Floors.

Four external roof-mounted antennas were installed and connected via low-smoke coax cabling to internal headend units located within the central riser. From there, signal distribution is managed through CAT6 links to floor distribution units and 16 internal coverage units strategically positioned across all levels.

The system was fully configured and commissioned for optimal performance, ensuring consistent, high-quality mobile signal throughout the occupied areas of the building. Upon completion, AAA provided full system documentation, including as-built schematics, O&M manuals, and floor-by-floor heat maps verifying coverage.
