The Elm Tree

Project Overview

AAA was appointed to supply, install, test, and commission a wireless fire alarm system at The Elm Tree, providing a fully compliant and reliable fire safety solution across the basement, ground, and first floors of the property.

The system was designed using the Comelit Logifire Wireless Open Protocol System, offering flexibility and speed of installation without the need for extensive cabling. Detection devices were installed throughout all escape routes and high-risk areas, including kitchens, while manual call points were fitted in accordance with BS 5839-1 regulations.

A main fire control and indicating panel was installed at the main entrance to allow rapid access and response by the fire brigade. All devices communicate wirelessly via a fault-tolerant loop network to ensure dependable system performance.

The installation was completed in line with BS5839-1:2017, BS EN 54, and EN12101-10 standards. Upon completion, AAA carried out full system testing, commissioning, and provided comprehensive documentation, including certification, as-fitted drawings, and an operation and maintenance manual.
